We went to Navarre Beach, FL for the first time as our end-of-summer trip and let me tell you: it lives up to the hype! As a family who loves authentic and intimate moments where memories are created, you won't find us at a tourist-heavy area. Give me all the quiet beach towns and hidden gems ANY DAY!
So while in Navarre, we had the opportunity to visit Navarre family Watersports.
Who are they and what do they offer?
Pontoon Boat Rentals: Cruise in Style
Imagine floating gently on the turquoise waters, enjoying the sea breeze with your family. Renting a pontoon boat is perfect for creating a relaxing day on the water.
Pack a picnic, take in the sights, and maybe even spot some playful dolphins. The spacious boats mean there’s room for everyone—including snacks, sunscreen, and all the toys your kids can’t live without. It’s a stress-free way to explore the Gulf Coast and bond as a family.
Make a Splash: Wibit Waterpark
We had driven by this location every day when venturing out and decided to call and see if we could visit. We were offered a spot for the girls to play and took them up on it immediately!
So first off, be sure to use a lifejacket (they are provided in a wide range of sizes, but not required) and bring water shoes! The water in this inlet is somewhat murky and as someone big on water safety, I felt more comfortable with them having one on. It would have been helpful with water shoes as well, so take note...
We arrived at 10:15ish in the morning and already, the inflatables were SO hot on the kid's feet, #FloridaSun, we started splashing water up ahead of them and it seemed to help somewhat. As the girls were making their way back to us towards the end of our timeframe to be on the course, Valentina fell off and into the water in one area, working her way to a spot where she could climb back up, and something (not sure if it was a step or a stabilizer for the inflatables) cut her foot underwater while she was kicking to get up. Again: bring water shoes. It was pretty gnarly and thankfully the staff inside the office were quick to offer a first aid kit and even better, there was an ice cream shop across the street to cool off after all the fun in the sun. Had we known to bring shoes beforehand, this would have been the best part of the trip I bet!
Get Your Adrenaline Fix: Waverunners and Ropes Courses
Older kids and adventurous parents will love the Waverunner rentals. Zip across the waves, take in the beautiful coastline, and get your heart pumping! It’s one of the best ways to explore the open water while experiencing some serious thrills. If you prefer heights over waves, check out the high ropes course. This obstacle challenge will have your whole family testing their balance and courage!
Paddleboarding and Kayaking: Fun at Your Own Pace
Not every family adventure needs to be fast and furious. For those who enjoy a more tranquil experience, paddleboarding and kayaking are excellent ways to explore Navarre’s calm, crystal-clear waters. Whether you’re a pro or a beginner, it’s easy to enjoy the scenery and get a little exercise in too.
Why We Loved Navarre Family Watersports
What sets Navarre Family Watersports apart is its wide range of activities. It’s a one-stop-shop for family fun where you can choose to relax or get adventurous. Best of all? The staff is friendly, safety is a top priority, and there’s something for everyone, no matter your age or interests.
Plan Your Trip
If you’re visiting the Florida Panhandle, this spot should be at the top of your list! Pack your sunscreen, bring your sense of adventure, and get ready for a day filled with sun, sea, and smiles.
